We are pleased to announce the Rockstar of the Quarter for Fiscal Year 2021-Quarter 1, Paramedic, Sophie Roberts.
Sophie works as night shift team lead to medically assess, monitor, and treat Sobering Center clients, as well as collaborates with ATCEMS and hospital emergency rooms to ensure additional care for clients. She has also taken on the responsibility of training all EMT-B, AEMT, and Paramedic Sobering Center new hires.
Sophie has been a Paramedic for 5 years, and has been a part of our team for almost a year. Prior to the Sobering Center, she worked as a Field Paramedic for Williamson County EMS and has several years of experience working in local hospital emergency rooms.
Sophie has received honors for her deployment to Houston, Texas for Hurricane Harvey relief in 2017, as well as commendations for her successful resuscitation/treatment of patients for Cardiac Arrest, Pediatric Respiratory, Trauma, and newborn delivery in the field.
In her spare time, Sophie enjoys crafty projects, fixing things, reading, exploring the outdoors, and above all, hanging out with her English Bulldog, Pneumo.
Sophie is an incredible asset to our team and we gladly recognize her for her exceptional work!
