NOTICE OF MEETING
The Sobering Center serving Austin Travis County also known as the Sobriety Center, created and organized by the City of Austin and Travis County as a local government corporation pursuant to Texas Transportation Code, Chapter 431, will convene a public meeting on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 in the Sobering Center Board Room, 1213 Sabine Street, Austin, Texas.

2. General Citizen/Public Communication
Citizens wishing to speak on agenda items will need to sign up before the meeting is called to order. Citizen communication on agenda related items will be allowed after an item’s presentation has been made. Each speaker will be given 3 minutes to speak. Non-
agenda related citizen communication will take place before discussion of the first agenda item and will be limited to the first 5 speakers.
3. Approval of Minutes for June 12 and August 14, 2019 Board meetings.
4. Introduction and Welcome for Interim Executive Director, Robin Peyson.
5. Presentation and Approval of Treasurer’s Report.
6. Discussion and possible action regarding search and hiring process for permanent Executive Director.
7. Interim Executive Director Report to the Board.
8. Board Officer Elections for 2-year term: Oct 1, 2019 to Sept. 30, 2021.
9. Discussion of Committee Assignments for 2019/20 and Board Worksheet
10. Resolution to set Board meeting dates and times for 2019/20.
